Lisa Baker

Lisa Baker PhD, Principal & Lead Consultant: 

PhD psychologist with advanced training in trauma-informed leadership, MBSR, and equity-centered facilitation.Lisa is a psychologist, educator, and organizational consultant with more than two decades of experience helping mission-driven teams build healthier, more sustainable ways of working. She combines deep psychological insight with systems thinking to support leadership development, navigate organizational change, and foster cultures of trust and well-being.

As a teacher and speaker, Lisa is known for her dynamic, engaging presence. She currently teaches in the Social Innovation and Sustainability Leadership Program at Edgewood College and has previously held faculty appointments at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her mindfulness-based approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, nonviolent communication, and inclusive facilitation.

Lisa also contributes to public discourse through local media interviews, peer-reviewed publications, and national leadership in the mindfulness field, including serving as Co-Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee for the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School.

Lisa also maintains a private practice in Madison, WI.
